This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional who is passionate about the future of energy and enjoys building long-term strategic partnerships. You will play a key role in supporting utility customers as they navigate the energy transition, working with a broad portfolio of innovative electrical solutions across generation, transmission and distribution.

The Opportunity

As Key Account Manager – Utilities, you will be responsible for developing and expanding relationships with utility and renewable energy customers throughout Austria. This is a strategic business development and key account management role focused on identifying new opportunities, managing complex customer ecosystems and delivering long-term sustainable growth.
Working closely with an international leadership team, you will become a trusted advisor to senior decision-makers while collaborating across multiple internal business functions to deliver outstanding customer value.
This is a fully remote position based anywhere in Austria and reports directly to the Utilities Director for the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for key utility and renewable energy customers.
  • Identify, acquire and grow new business opportunities within the Utilities sector.
  • Build strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
  • Position the company's complete portfolio of low voltage, medium voltage and power distribution solutions.
  • Lead customer engagement throughout the complete sales lifecycle, from opportunity identification through to project delivery.
  • Manage complex sales pipelines, forecasts and CRM activities.
  • Develop strong partnerships with consultants, system integrators, EPCs, contractors and panel builders.
  • Promote value-based selling and negotiate commercial agreements.
  • Work closely with technical, marketing and product management teams to deliver tailored customer solutions.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions and customer meetings.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, regulatory developments and opportunities related to the Energy Transition.
About You

We are looking for an experienced sales professional who combines commercial expertise with a strong technical understanding.

You will ideally bring:
  • Proven experience in Key Account Management, Business Development or Strategic Sales.
  • Experience within the Utilities, Renewable Energy or Electrical Infrastructure sectors.
  • Knowledge of Low Voltage, Medium Voltage, Switchgear, Transformers or Power Distribution solutions.
  • An engineering background (Electrical Engineering preferred, Mechanical Engineering or similar also considered).
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and strategic customer relationships.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales pipeline management.
  • Fluent German and good English communication skills.
