What will you be doing

You will be using your experience to help our clients solve their most important data challenges. You will play a significant role in supporting the growth of our team, enabling them to build the skillsets required to solve our clients' challenges. Depending on the level, you can be a part of our leadership team, shaping the direction of the practice, growing the business and leading our people.

Typical engagements include:

Designing, architecting, developing, deploying, and evolving CI/CD systems to help clients transition to cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and to leverage modern architecture patterns (e.g., APIs, events)
Performing maturity assessments across our clients’ Cloud / DevOps capabilities, building technology artefacts, providing guidance on the technology options and bringing industry best-practices and recommendations for improvements.
Translating business requirements (functional and non-functional) into solutions, ensuring compliance with the organisations strategy, policies and standards and in some cases, help customers to define new policies, principles and standards
Designing and implementing Continuous Delivery pipelines that serve the purpose of provisioning and operating client’s Dev, Test, and Prod environments
Working with data engineers to support automation of data warehouses and pipelines
Creating high-level designs and architectures which deliver on the needs of the project
Enhancing agile delivery approach by integrating Continuous Deployment / Delivery practices
Helping clients to identify risks and mitigations for their cloud programmes
Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and applications, implementing proactive monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to detect and mitigate issues before they impact users.
Implement and enforce security best practices for infrastructure and applications, including network security, identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Contribute to the overall software architecture and technical roadmap, participating in design discussions, code reviews, and architecture reviews

We’re looking for people who can both advise our clients and, when needed, get hands on in technical delivery to bring a solution to life.

Some Of The Key Skills We Are Looking For:

Passionate individual who is excited by problems with data and can bring a good mix of technical delivery and core consulting skills in client engagements
Ability to own and run complex client engagements, interact with leaders across industry, work with senior stakeholders to help them understand and frame their problems, assess their current state, and make impactful recommendations which help shape their thinking
Good understanding and expertise in delivering data solutions both infrastructure and as-a-service that are robust and scalable using modern delivery frameworks and tools
Knowledge of designing, architecting and deploying CI/CD systems for modern data analytics platforms, ideally in the cloud
Ability to write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automate application deployment using industry standard tools and services
Experience on defining and implementing Security, High Availability, Disaster Recovery and Monitoring aspects of cloud solutions
Experience in defining best practices / standards, building reusable, extensible, secure artifacts and driving adoption of DevOps practices on engineering teams
Competent in at least one modern programming language, such a Python
Be a ‘lifelong learner’ and can demonstrate a drive to always be learning and developing your skillsets
