Your Role
As
International Finance Manager, you will oversee financial governance and strategic financial operations for overseas subsidiaries and business units. You will play a key role in ensuring financial compliance, supporting business decisions, and optimizing financial structures across international markets.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance & Risk Management
- Develop and continuously improve financial management systems, internal controls, and compliance processes for international business units.
- Interpret and ensure adherence to local accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial regulatory requirements across overseas subsidiaries.
- Ensure all financial operations comply with international and local regulations.
International Treasury & Financing
- Lead overseas fund management and international financial settlement activities.
- Design and implement financing strategies and support diversified financing channels.
- Manage cross-border fund flows and liquidity planning.
Business Analysis & Strategic Support
- Conduct in-depth financial and business analysis.
- Develop financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making for overseas operations.
- Provide financial insights to senior leadership for business strategy development.
Budgeting & Performance Management
- Lead global budgeting processes, including rolling forecasts and financial planning.
- Align financial objectives with operational and management performance metrics.
Financial Structuring & Optimization
• Design and implement specialized financial programs such as:
Tax planning
Transfer pricing strategies
Foreign exchange risk management
Risk Monitoring & Audit Coordination
- Build and maintain financial risk monitoring and early-warning systems.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Monitor regulatory changes and proactively address financial risk.
Your Profile
Professional Experience
Minimum
10 years of experience in finance, preferably within multinational organizations.
At least
2 years of overseas financial experience or international finance support.
- Experience as a Financial Business Partner (BP) in manufacturing environments (e.g., energy, aluminum, or industrial sectors) is considered an advantage.
Technical Expertise
• Strong knowledge of:
International financial settlement
Cross-border treasury management
Multinational tax regulations
Foreign exchange risk management
• Solid experience in building financial systems and operational processes.
• Deep understanding of
international accounting standards (IFRS / US GAAP).
• Strong financial analysis, modelling, and operational diagnostics capabilities.
Certifications
One or more of the following professional certifications are preferred:
Languages
- Fluent in Chinese and English
- German language skills are an advantage, particularly for collaboration with teams in Germany and Switzerland.
