Our client is expanding their global Marketing Automation team and is looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to own the SFMC operations for Europe within their engineering ecosystem.

This is a fully remote role. Candidates must be located in Bulgaria or South-Eastern Europe. You will collaborate closely with a US-based engineering team, contributing to enterprise-scale SFMC operations across a complex, multi-Business Unit environment supporting global marketing initiatives.

This role is ideal for a technically confident professional who enjoys building scalable solutions in structured, high-volume environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize automations and customer journeys

• Develop and maintain scalable data models and segmentation logic

• Create dynamic email templates using Ampscript, GTL, and SSJS

• Manage data extensions and complex data structures

• Support integrations with external systems via APIs

• Ensure platform stability and production readiness

• Troubleshoot issues and collaborate with global engineering teams when needed

Required Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud development experience

• Strong knowledge of:

  • SQL

  • Automation Studio

  • Journey Builder

  • Data architecture & segmentation

  • Ampscript, GTL, SSJS

• Experience working in multi-Business Unit environments

• Solid understanding of email rendering and deliverability best practices

• Comfort operating in production-driven enterprise ecosystems

Working Model

• Fully remote

• Full-time engagement

• Daily collaboration with cross-regional stakeholders

• Participation in Agile/Sprint ceremonies

• Occasional overlap with US time zones

• On-call rotation approximately once every 5–6 weeks
