
For our client – an internationally operating company in the energy and infrastructure sector – we are seeking a Senior Project Manager - Strategy & Projects, to strengthen its Finance Services function and to lead strategic, group-wide initiatives focused on efficiency, scalability, and process excellence.
Lead end-to-end, group-wide finance transformation and rollout initiatives to improve the efficiency, quality, and scalability of accounting processes.
Plan, execute, and monitor complex projects using professional project management methodologies.
Drive the standardization and harmonization of finance processes across multiple legal entities and countries, ensuring alignment and successful implementation.
Manage transition and carve-in projects, transferring finance operations into centralized Finance Services while ensuring business continuity and high service quality.
Act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders across Finance, IT, and other corporate functions.
Facilitate stakeholder communication and decision-making, ensuring transparent reporting and moderating discussions between central and local teams.
Take ownership of strategic rollout projects, driving alignment, achieving key milestones, and ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
Track project performance, proactively identify risks, implement mitigation measures, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Provide hands-on support across rollout-related topics, including requirements definition, process harmonization, standardization, communication, and change management.
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in finance transformation, project management, or shared services environments.
Strong experience leading complex project workstreams in an international, multi-stakeholder context.
Proven ability to manage high-impact projects with strong management visibility and tight timelines.
Demonstrated experience in leading successful finance transitions or operational transfers within international organizations.
In-depth understanding of finance processes, with a strong focus on Accounts Payable.
Solid expertise in finance digitalization and automation; experience with workflow and automation tools is a strong advantage.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage senior management, customers, and operational teams.
High level of resilience, conflict-handling capability, and very strong presentation skills.
Strong customer orientation with proven stakeholder alignment and problem-solving skills at senior management level.
Solution-oriented mindset combined with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Ability to think conceptually while navigating complex and interdependent problem landscapes.
Fluent in English and German.
