Business Application Expert

Our client — a well-established international company in the automotive and mobility sector — is looking to strengthen their IT team in Sofia by hiring a skilled IT Business Application Expert. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where technology directly supports business growth and innovation.

The ideal candidate will bring experience across Power BI, CRM/ERP systems, API integration, and web technologies, with a proactive mindset and strong communication skills. You’ll work closely with business and IT stakeholders, contributing both to operations and strategic projects.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Business Application Management

Gather and translate business requirements into effective technical solutions aligned with operational goals.
Provide functional and technical support for core applications (CRM, ERP), ensuring continuity and optimal performance.
Maintain system documentation and manage full application lifecycle, including updates and enhancements.

Business Intelligence (Power BI)

Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI to support strategic and operational decisions.
Ensure data integrity and collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and reporting standards.

API Integration & Development

Design and manage secure, scalable APIs for system integrations (CRM, ERP, internal tools).
Monitor API performance, ensure smooth data flow, and maintain technical documentation.

Web Applications & Portals

Oversee internal web applications and business portals, ensuring usability, responsiveness, and security.
Drive continuous improvements in UX/UI based on business needs and user feedback.

IT Operations Support

Contribute to IT planning, vendor coordination, budgeting, and compliance with security and risk protocols.
Act as a key IT contact for internal teams and support documentation and knowledge sharing.

Project Management

Lead or support IT projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring alignment with timelines and business goals.
Prepare user documentation and facilitate training as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

4 –7 (or more) years of experience in business applications, BI, APIs, or web platforms
Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Strong knowledge of Power BI, CRM/ERP systems, and data modeling
Hands-on experience with APIs and front-end technologies (HTML, JS, CSS)
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Fluent in English
