About the opportunity
EvolveTalent® is recruiting for an established company in the renewable energy sector. We are looking for a field service professional who can guide technicians, support safe and effective maintenance work, and help coordinate service activities across the region.
The role
You will work closely with the Operations Manager and Team Leads to plan and deliver field service activities. The role combines technical problem-solving, day-to-day coordination and support for the people carrying out the work.
Your responsibilities
- Support Team Leads and field technicians in planning and completing maintenance, repairs and other service work.
- Provide technical guidance when teams encounter complex electrical or mechanical issues.
- Help ensure work is completed safely, to a high standard and in line with agreed schedules.
- Review workload, technician availability and service performance, and help adjust plans where needed.
- Coordinate with technical, planning and safety colleagues to resolve operational issues.
- Share progress, risks and performance updates with the Operations Manager.
- Coach technicians, encourage knowledge sharing and identify opportunities to improve how the team works.
- A technical qualification in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, electronics or a related field.
- Experience coordinating field service or maintenance activities and supporting technical teams.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to interpret technical drawings or documentation.
- A practical approach to safety, planning and problem-solving.
- Confidence using digital tools to track work and report progress.
- Experience with renewable energy assets is an advantage.
