Position Overview

The SAP BTP Data Analytics Consultant / Architect plays a pivotal role in leading the consulting, architecture design, and implementation of complex SAP data and analytics solutions. Serving as a key technical authority, this role bridges business requirements and advanced cloud enterprise architecture—delivering high-impact solutions built on SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for global clients across Japan.

Key Responsibilities

Consulting & Solution Design: Lead end-to-end consulting, design, and technical implementation for SAP BTP data analytics projects.
Architecture Engineering: Design modern enterprise data platforms and analytics solutions utilizing SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
Requirements Analysis: Partner closely with business stakeholders and IT leadership to capture complex business needs, defining comprehensive system architecture and technical solution designs.
Platform Optimization & Migration: Oversee and participate in the import, migration, integration, and performance optimization of client SAP data analytics platforms.
Pre-Sales & Strategic Support: Leverage deep expertise to contribute to high-value client proposals, project management roadmaps, and continuous technical mentorship for the team.

Candidate Qualifications

Required:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years of relevant IT experience with a proven track record in SAP ecosystems, Business Intelligence (BI), and data platform architecture.
Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience designing and delivering solutions with SAP BTP, SAP Datasphere, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
Language Skills:
- Japanese: Business-level proficiency (capable of leading independent client discussions, workshops, and business negotiations).
- English: Fluent spoken and written communication skills to collaborate with global team members and offshore development centers.
Key Competencies: Strong client-facing communication, requirements engineering skills, and a strategic solution-oriented mindset.
