About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance & Automation Technician to serve as a key technical authority at our state-of-the-art Cadorago Distribution Center. In this highly autonomous role, you will bridge the gap between complex process automation and hands-on electromechanical maintenance.
You will be responsible for ensuring the absolute reliability, safety, and continuous improvement of our high-speed production and packaging assets. If you are a proactive troubleshooter who thrives on keeping cutting-edge automated machinery running at peak performance, this role offers the perfect mix of deep technical challenge and operational ownership.
Key Responsibilities

Advanced Technical Support: Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize high-speed industrial slitting lines and automated packaging systems.

Root-Cause Diagnosis: Identify complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic system faults, developing and executing long-term preventive and corrective action plans.

Automation & Control Systems: Lead localized programming modifications and automation optimization initiatives across production equipment and facilities.

External Partner Coordination: Manage relationship-critical technical suppliers and coordinate specialized subcontractors during on-site interventions.

Strategic Maintenance Planning: Contribute valuable technical insights to the local maintenance budget and overall site reliability strategy.
Your Profile

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of successful maintenance experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment (experience in paper converting, slitting/rewinding, or adhesive tape industries is highly advantageous).

Technical Troubleshooting: Demonstrated ability to independently diagnose and repair highly automated electromechanical systems.

Schematics & Drafting: Strong capability to read and analyze complex electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical technical drawings.

Automation Networks: Practical experience interfacing with hardware and software across industrial automation networks.

Technology Ecosystems: Hands-on familiarity with Siemens or Rockwell PLC systems and software is considered a major advantage.

Languages: Fluent in written and spoken Italian is mandatory; proficiency in English is highly valued.
